I am passionate about Art education:  teaching students of all ages the basic and the complex varieties of Art, techniques, mediums, concepts, as well as Art history and, hopefully, helping inspire and guide them to create their own work. 

For my older students, much of our work together is focused on creating artwork for submission to national art competitions and on creating art portfolios for submission to fine arts academies and colleges. 

Many of my students go on to careers in the visual arts and related fields.
